What Matters To Us

At Flying G Ranch, we prioritize a holistic approach that nurtures the health of the land, the animals, and the people; that's our family, and yours. Every decision we make supports a thriving ecosystem—where healthy soil, healthy animals, and healthy humans, both physically and spiritually, is the result.

A Healthy Environment

Soil that is full of life results in lush, nutrient dense forage and an active carbon cycle. This life-generating cycle starts with grazing livestock in a highly intentional manner.

Healthy Animals

Cattle that are healthy and happy, results in beef that is flavorful, tender, and packed with nutrients!

Healthy People

We care about your health, and ours, both mind and body. Nothing is more fulfulling than producing nutritious food, by living a lifestyle that fosters both.

Why Grass-Finished Beef?

It's Good For Your Health!

It's Good For The Environment!

Grass-Finished beef is high in Omega-3, a heart healthy fat that if we have enough of, can drastically reduce the likelihood of heart problems and high blood pressure. Omega-3 is also beneficial for optimal brain function, and at sufficient levels, can aid in the prevention of Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia, and ADD. We do not get enough Omega-3 in a typical north American diet.

Beef from grass-finished ruminants is the richest known source of another type of good fat called Conjugated Linoleic Acid or CLA. Grass-finished beef contains as much as 5 times more CLA than beef that's conventionally raised and sold in grocery stores.

Grass-finished beef is one of the most nutrient dense proteins on earth. It has a high micronutrient profile and is much higher in B vitamins, vitamin D, and iron.

Additionally, cattle grazing on grass, stimulates the cycle of photosynthesis whereby plants feed carbon into the soil, resulting in improved soil health and increased plant growth. Grazing livestock is the single most effective way to prevent and even reverse desertification and improve the earth's water cycle.
